Heredij (Heritage) Wool Rug / Wall Hanging

Our Heredij rug is handmade from start to finish in the Carpathian mountain region of western Ukraine. Wool is dyed with azo free, naturally derived pigments and then spun using old world techniques. The yarn is then carefully woven on a loom in a traditional manner that goes back hundreds of years.

The Heredij rug is one that we have used in a variety of ways. Whether hung via a wall hanger, as pictured, draped over a bench or ladder, or laying under books and candles on a nightstand, it adds texture and intricate design elements to a space.
