Vintage Pastukh (Shepherd) Sheep's Bell

Our Vintage Pastukh (Shepherd) Sheep's Bells were handmade in the Carpathian mountains in the mid-1900's. These bells are historically significant and have been used by shepherds in the region for over 1,000+ years - and are still used to this day. Each handcrafted bell has a unique sound (unlike machine-manufactured bells), allowing the shepherd to know the individual sound and whereabouts of each sheep in the flock. Adorned with woven ribbon from the Carpathian region, you can use our bells as an ornament, door-knocker or to embellish a wreath.
